Search of new restaurants led us to a hillock on the border of Wan Chai & Admiralty where a whole new line of restaurants are popping up. If you are in mood of burgers , head to Ted's Lookout for your round of delicious sliders.
Ted's Lookout is a semi-open, casual bar kind of restaurant with a bohemian feel to it. There is a normal A la Carte menu of finger foods from which we ordered a Spicy BBQ Corn which was a wonderful vegetarian dish. They have a few more selection of vegetarian finger foods like Tacos, Nachos, Truffle Frites, etc.
And then they have a Create-Your-Own Burger menu, where you select what toppings and sauces you want with your slider. The only downside is that you will be charged the price of basic Beef burger, even if you ask them to remove the beef for your vegetarian preference. Every topping and additional sauces cost extra and your burger comes to around 140$ to 150$.
Quite expensive for a burger , but its huge and one is enough for regular human , and once in a while such a kind of indulgence is a must. The taste of the Gruyere cheese with the huge Portobello mushroom is a superb combination, and you feel like savoring its taste with every bite.
Ted's Lookout is not a place for a romantic date, but for a casual bite & drinks with friends. The service is prompt & they were helpful enough to guide us through the menu to pick up the recommended dishes.
The only main course here is Burger, and go with that mindset only, so you wont be disappointed.
