In general, Mexican cuisine is a safe bet because it serves lots of cheese with spices and has enough options for both herbivores & omnivores. Caliente was a welcome treat in Tsim Sha Tsui which was lacking in Mexican restaurants.
Nachos are huge and has lots of cheese with veggies. Served with average salsa and pre made guacamole, its just the best dish in Caliente. If by any chance, one still manages to stumble upon this restaurant, do not miss this dish. At least it will fill you up.
Next up , is a thick Quesadilla which has a lot of veggies , but felt a little under cooked, with a flimsy tortilla. Its decent and more than half of your appetite should be full.
Enchiladas was a total miss with its lack in flavor making it very bland.
The Mexican Pizza was a good dish as we managed it to finish it, and it had a good crust with lots of veggies.
They still had a lot of vegetarian dishes like Tacos, Fajitas, Burritos to choose from , but its impossible to try all in one visit.
Being in the hippy Knutsford Terrace area of Tsim Sha Tsui , its here to stay as its easily accessible , plus with its large portions , having one or two decent dishes can be a total filler.
For me, it does not have a repeat value, as it lacks in taste, with substandard guacamole and salsa. There are better options like Cali-Mex (only for Quesadilla) and Tequila of Davis (Kennedy Town), where you are not having just cheese and veggies.
